Vitaliy was born and raised in Odesa, Ukraine. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Finance at the Odessa State Economic University (1999) and Master’s In Economics from the University of Manitoba (2001).
Vitaliy started his career as an investment analyst at a leading Canadian investment management company in Winnipeg. He advanced into a treasury officer position for the Canadian Wheat Board, managing several currency hedging programs.
Following the Orange Revolution, he spent 3 years in Kyiv, Ukraine (2005-2008) building an investment brokerage business for ING Bank. Vitaliy returned back to Canada in 2008, where he continued his career in Investments, managing investment portfolios of high-net-worth individuals and companies.
Vitaliy has been actively involved with the Ukrainian-Canadian business community in Alberta through the Alberta-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the years, Vitaliy had been a member or served on the boards of several community organizations: Rotary Club of Edmonton, Synergy Network, Ukrainian-Canadian Congress, Ukrainian Research and Development Centre at the Grant McEwan University, etc.
